| It;s all about the pivot point that makes it a short shifter. It's longer so that when you install it, it will sit at the same height as the oem shifter. It's built like my shifter. Ones installed, mine sits a tad lower physically because the pivot point is being moved. The C's does the same thing except they added some length up top to make it sit the same height. Also check the bend to make sure it's not a double bend. the stock shifter has bend as well towards the back of the car. The C's may be bent back and to the right. So if you flip it over it may put your hand closer to the dash as it would bend forward and to the left.
